Personalised snakes & ladders make an unusual, and invariably treasured present for a birthday, Christmas or anniversary, to celebrate an achievement or to mark retirement; or just for fun. Examples of generic snakes & ladders are illustrated on my website, and cover hobbies, lifestyle, sports and so on, but a personalised one is unique, based on information supplied by you, and it becomes a record which gets looked at more often than the family photograph album.

Over time they have become known as Bographies, for the simple reason that they are biographical in content, and often get hung in the loo, but they can as easily be hung anywhere where people can see them and chuckle. They are not intended to be played as the game, but merely to illustrate in a light hearted way someone’s hobby, career, achievements, irritating habits, things they are most proud of, past incidents they would rather forget, and a few made up to add to it all.

There is an order form on the contact page to act as a guide in supplying information, and you can supply as much as you like. Family and friends can help contribute. They work well as a surprise, and then a lasting momento.  All information given is kept in the strictest confidence, and then destroyed or returned once the drawing is complete. Although I am not a caricaturist a photograph of the subject is always helpful.

Simply return the completed form, and as much additional information as you wish, by email or letter, and I will get cracking. I can always be reached on the telephone as well.

Personalised snakes & ladders start at £450 mounted, and I ask for a £100 deposit once the order is confirmed. As much notice as possible is helpful to meet a specific date, and currently I need 3 weeks minimum. The generic snakes & ladders, all signed limited edition prints, are available now at £45 mounted, or £25 rolled in a tube for delivery.
